Cook’s Play Date
Cook’s Play Date is a wonderful, welcoming cross between a medieval culinary demo and a group encampment. The fires get burning around 10am, and curious souls are welcome to drop in any time — except for about 6-7pm, when the Cooks sit down to eat dinner! Stop by, ask questions, and watch the cooks.

Amtgard LARP demo
The Iron Ring household will host daily Amtgard demos at An Tir-West War (Tuesday through Saturday). Amtgard, a LARP in the fantasy-medieval “sword and sorcery” setting, includes many SCAdians who are active in both organizations. The 2026 ATWW Event Stewards are supporting this opportunity for interested gentles to see what it’s all about.
Every day on the War field, after the scheduled SCA battles are finished, the Iron Ring will host foam combat battle games. Loaner gear will be available.
